Nursery
Our Nursery is staffed with loving volunteers during each of the Sunday services to provide safe, individualized care for the youngest where parents can feel comfortable leaving their child to join in the regular church service. All nursery supervisors and volunteers have been screened and approved to care for the children.

Toddlers Church
Toddler Church meets in Christman Hall on Sunday mornings. It is designed to be our Toddlers’ “first church” experience. Through the curriculum the children learn by touching, hearing, seeing, doing, and moving! We desire to teach little hands as we train little hearts! Each Sunday, the children sing praises to God, share their praises and prayer requests, and praying. They then begin a time of discovery through several curriculum units that teach stories from the Bible. The children hear a Bible lesson and have a coloring page that goes with the story, play games, and have a snack time.

Jr. Church
Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade, our Junior Church program is designed to teach that God’s Word is true, important and relevant at every age. It is our prayer that the children will absorb these truths and call upon them as they live out their daily lives. Classes are staffed with teachers who are eager to be used of God to display His loving care as they develop relationships with the children. All grade school classes are staffed by teachers who have been screened and approved to teach the children.

Ladies Ministry
Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction with other women. Women enjoy fellowship with other women, while taking a deeper look at Gods Word.
Ladies Fellowship Teas – These are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Fellowship and accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. For all men who enjoy a great breakfast, fellowship, encouraging speakers, and a time of prayer. We meet one Saturday a month, either at the church or at the home of one of the men in our church.

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Young at Heart (over-50 group) provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.
College and Career
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

Music Ministry
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others lead our Worship Service. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Ushers & greeters
The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men whose ministry is integral to church life.
Being a Greeter is such an important ministry for our church. We want our visitors to feel the welcoming spirit of our church when they enter our doors and you provide this. Your smiling face and warm handshake will make them feel how excited we are that they came to worship with us.

Sound Room
Our Sound room technicians ensure that all the audio and projection systems are running properly for our services.Technicians arrive early and stay late, ensuring that all equipment is set up properly and taken down when not being used.

Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. Our Word Of Life Ministry also has an active Facebook account for additional church communication.

Christian Counseling
Christians struggle with day to day life, just like anyone else. Problems at work, conflicts with family and friends, and marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any relationship. Our Pastors offer counseling to all who are in need. Their role in listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging, by God’s grace, has saved marriages, and repaired relationships.

Prayer Chain
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. We have an active Prayer Chain via telephone and Emails. Throughout the week, if a special prayer request is submitted by a church member, we forward this information to all on our Prayer Chain List and ask for prayer. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer meeting and Bible study.

The Outreach Committee
Ephesians.4:11,12 says “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ”. The goal of our committee is to follow this model. We are looking for ways to equip our people for outreach and then to supply opportunities for our people to reach out to our community. Our desire is that everyone in our community will have heard the truth and been given an opportunity to respond to that truth.

CHURCH LIBRARY
The purpose of the Church Library is to serve the Vermontville Bible Church congregation with inspirational reading, worship resources, teaching resources, and any other printed matter or media which would enrich the spiritual and intellectual lives of our members and fulfill the program ministries of the Church.
Our primary goal is to offer the best books in the field of Christian culture and faith. A secondary goal is to make available a selection of recreational reading – books for general and current interest – both fictional and nonfictional for all ages.
Our Church library is located in the Christman Hall.
